Bienvenu sur site officiel des Championnats Nationaux Canadiens de Parapente 2009. Cette année, les compétitions se dérouleront au Mt-Yamaska. Le Québec accueillera pour la seconde fois une compétition de parapente de niveau international (Open FAI Cat. II) et une compétition clé dans la sélection de l’équipe national qui représentera le Canada aux championnats du monde en 2011.

Tous les pilotes seront invités à participer et de s’inscrire dans l’une des deux catégories suivantes :

Open (LTF 2 et 2-3, compétition.) et Standard (LTF 1 et 1-2).

Les inscriptions seront limitées à 100 pilotes et seront confirmées lors de la réception des frais d’inscriptions. Les inscriptions seront ouvertes bientôt. Vous devez avoir un compte d’usagé sur ce site pour pouvoir vous inscrire.

Directions

The distance between Yamaska and Montreal is about a 35 minutes drive east (south east) of Montreal on highway 10 east. We actually see downtown very well in flight.

I'll give you the full drive in so here goes:
From Montreal, take highway 15 south across Champlain bridge. After the bridge the highway becomes highway 10 east.
So highway 10 east to exit 55 (Ange Gardien) (that's 55 Km from the bridge).

The exit leads to a T which is road 235. Turn north (left) on road 235 and drive for about 10 Km to the traffic light. Take a right turn on road 112 east for about 2 Km. You will then see a road (at the foothill of Yamaska) the goes left only called "Rg de la Montagne". So take a left on Rg de la Montagne road and drive 2 Km to the school which is clearly indicated and on your left.

You can't miss it. Plus there are many provincial signes for directions (the blue ones) once you're on road 112 indicating the directions to Distance Vol Libre, our school.

The meet HQ will be across the street from the school and main L.Z., you can't miss that either.

FREE CAMPING ON LZ with accomodations - DVL is making arrangements to provide camping for free for competitors, right on the DVL grounds. This is where all pilot meetings, possible goal field and all scoring will be done...and not to mention the nightly BBQs and parties...so why not stay here! It will be basic camping with basic amenities but it will save you driving back to your place.
