I've just received official approval from the HPAC/ACVL Board of Directors to move the site of the 2006 Canadian HG Championship to Golden, BC. The dates will be the same as the Vulcan meet to accommodate everyone who already has plans to go to Vulcan. Golden is only three hours from Calgary and has plenty of amenities including the world class Muller Flight Park located at The Golden Eco-Adventure Ranch in Nicholson.

Golden is Canada's premiere mountain XC site and with some decent weather should provide great racing conditions.

Tasks are expected to be in the 50-150km range using turnpoints whenever possible and will be scored with GAP/RACE.

Like everyone I'm disappointed that the aerotow meet is cancelled but I'm definitely in for Golden. I expect that any proceeds from the Golden meet will go towards helping Scott with the expenses he's incurred already.

This probably means I won't be going to Texas either(no aerotow experience) so I'll likely make the Willi as well.
