Natalie had her first tandem flight late last August with me at Dallas and has been steadily working on her flying skills ever since. She had her first solo flight in the late fall after putting in her time at the Training Hill and has now flown from Mt Prevost (solo and XC tandem), the Malahat, Lower Bruce, Mt Mackenzie (Pemberton), Cactus (Makapuu, Oahu), Lanikai (Oahu), Nanakuli (Oahu), Koko Crater (Oahu), and Kealakekua (Big Island) and has recently shown some natural thermalling ability. Aside from attending the 2008 VIParagliding Tour to Hawaii, she has only been available on the weekends so her progress hasn't been as fast as she'd have liked but she made it!

She did quite well on the written exam, passed the in-flight test, and has reached the 30 solo flight marker. Congratulations Natalie - here's to the beginning of a long paragliding career!
