Big Spring and King to "share" National Championship?

Lisa Tate has proposed to David Glover that the National Championship be spilt 50/50 between King Mountain and Big Spring, if David was willing to move the proposed dates of the Big Spring meet back one week to give a two week gap between meets. David has stated that he is willing to do this. I have put the new proposed dates up on the Oz Report Competition calendar. (I don't see the point of a two week break as one week is plenty of time to go from one meet to the other and two weeks just makes that harder.)

I don't know if this is finalized yet or how it will work that the National Championship is actually spilt (how is it determined who wins the championship?).

Then, of course, it is unclear how this is going to be counted in the NTSS ranking system, the new proposed one. The King Mountain Nationals and the Big Spring Flatland Nationals?
