The dates for the Willi for 2006 are Aug 5-11.

10th Annual Willi Muller XC CHallenge

The Willi is a unique & relaxed event. You pick your own task and go at your own pace.

Fly the days you choose - only your best three flights count towards the overall standings. Bonus multipliers for Out-and-return tasks and triangles and even more bonuses for successful completion of them. You also get bonuses for landing in the designated landing fields.

There are different categories for HG & PG and also different sub-categories for different levels of pilots. Golden is a great venue as there are various parties throughout the week, breakfast each morning (included in registration - kids always eat free) and lots of other activities in Golden to do when you need a break from flying. Bring your whole family.

Come for the Willi and stay for the Lakeside event in Invermere (Aug 12). Details and entry fees to be announced.

It is starting on the long weekend this year instead of ending on it. The idea is hopefully everyone will then head to Lakeside for hangar party on Friday and enter the Invermere Splashdown event on the 12th.

Ranch - Nicholson field)
- Willi Flying: Saturday Aug 5 through Friday August 11 (Lakeside Event: Aug
12)
- Scoring Format: 3 Best Flights, bonus for O&R (same as last year)
- Willi Wrap-Up: Friday Evening (Aug 11) at Lakeside Hangar Party
- Special Events: Muller Opening Party Friday the 5th, Breakfast each
morning, movie nights, Big Dinner Night (date to be announced - the ladies
are already working on it)
- Cost: $60 plus something (optional and as yet to be determined) for the
Big Dinner
