Welcome to the fifth year of the annual Rat Race Paragliding Competition held in beautiful Southern Oregon. Rat Race 2007 is a seven day event with an emphasis on education and training in GPS use and competition strategies. The race format is Cross Country/Race to Goal.

Competitor entry requirements:
Current USHPA membership, P 3 or foreign equivalent,
Glider & equipment requirements: Paraglider & Harness, Helmet, Reserve, GPS and Radio capable of receiving and transmitting on all official USHPA frequencies. Subject to inspection by meet/safety director
Entry Fees and Deadlines:
$375.00 postmarked before April 15, 2007
$425.00 postmarked April 15 – June 17, 2007
Fees include: BLM Land Use fees,
LZ Landowner Cattle Feed,
Daily lunches, Retrieval, Sign-in Party,
Awards Party, T-Shirt, Mentoring program,
GPS Training and more
Trophies, and general prizes will be awarded in:
Open class 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
Serial class (DHV2-lower) 1st, 2nd, 3rd,
Master Class (50 years and older) 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Women 1st, 2nd, 3rd
