WCSC "Start Of The Year" Party

Bridal Falls Golf Club (near Bridal Falls LZ)

Time to get out, do some flying, and meet those you haven't seen for the dark winter months! This party coincides with the kickoff of the Fraser Valley XC Series, PG and HG (see below). So come out, partake in the relaxed atmosphere of the "turnpoint accumulation" comp, and come by the Bridal Falls Golf Club clubhouse to party afterwards!

What we'll be doing at the party:

Of course we'll be doing the scoring and preliminary results of day 1 of both the PG and HG FVXC Series
We'll be handing out the annual WCSC trophies for various winners of 2006: Rookie of the Year, Driver of the Year, Most Valuable Member, Presidential Cup, and the winners of the 2005 BC XC League
Cook-your-own-steak BBQ, with all the side fixings
Cash bar
Pool table, dartboards, driving range will all be available during the party
Overnight camping available
Videos and music to entertain

Party fee of only $10 gets you all this, provided you pay in advance (before or during the morning of May 5th). At-the-door is $15.

The party will start somewhere between 6pm and 7pm, depending on weather and flying conditions. If it's a great flying day we may be flying till late!
