5.1) Task Scoring
Distance only.
Your most advantageous tracklog point is used to calculate your last leg/point of your flight. This encourages you to turn back to land in a safe landing zone.
For Laps tasks, distance for your last leg is measured as the distance to your next targeted turnpoint.
For Cats-Craddle tasks, distance for your last leg is measured as the distance away from the closest turnpoint.
Each task is converted to a points-based score. If there are 10 pilots or more in the task, the winner gets 10 points, next gets 9, etc. 10th place and down get 1 point.
If there are less than 10 pilots, the winner of the task gets points equivalent to the # of pilots and points are reduced from there. IE. if there are 7 pilots - winner of the task gets 7, next gets 6, etc.
