5.3) Series Scoring

Only domestic meets (on Canadian soil) count. We welcome pilots from other Countries to join in our domestic Series (you'll need Canadian HPAC membership).
You can use up to your best ten XCXC TASK results per year to go towards the Series standings. Add up the points you get from each TASK and that's your total.
The motivation behind this system is to encourage pilots to go to any event even if there is only one good day of flying or if they can't get one of the days for whatever reason. We didn't want it to be an accumulation of EVENT results to encourage as many task participants as possible.

See my previous comments about the meet scoring. If we went that way, maybe you get to count your best 10 days of flying, from whatever meets you go to.
I think the laps, day scoring and bonuses offer the fairest method of series no matter where you fly or which days - the points are doled out the same whether the lap is 50 km or 10, at Golden or Yamaska. Really only the overall meet winner points vary much because the feild may not be as strong in some locations.
