8) Technical Requirements

We hope to create a "Event-in-a-box" for organizers complete with entry forms, waivers, official turnpoints for each venue, scoring computer with scoring software and cables, sample task files, etc. We are hoping for assistance from HPAC and contributors to make this a reality.

We want to make this as easy as possible to organize and score.

For those events that may go late on the last day and people (fellow competitors, organizers, scorers) have to leave, no worries...competitors can submit their track to the HPAC track server for the event scorer to pick up their track later (a witness may be required to vouch for you).

These events aren't to be as formal as traditional racing events....you don't have to have an official awards ceremony at the end of the event. Scores don't have to be done right away. Just collect the tracks by any means and we'll sort it out later.

Mark Dowsett is offering to remotely help figure out final scores after the event is done.

How about e-mailing

How about e-mailing track-logs to scorers? Sometimes people have more trouble trying to figure out how to upload track to a server than anything.
