Done!

I hope this helped and urged you to get your act together and travel with your hang glider. I almost gave up hang gliding a number of years ago in favour of paragliding. That was after my one and only international paragliding trip to the Dominican....it was soo easy to travel with your paraglider.

My glider is an all Carbon Moyes Litespeed S4 and it's 92lbs with all this packing material and measures 13'3".

But honestly, it only takes a bit of planning and time to get your hang glider ready for travel. And there's nothing like having your own gear when you travel somewhere and with this method, it's safe for the glider (MINIMAL wear-and-tear), you travel with your gear (rather than cargo) and it's a lot cheaper than cargo (usually about $80 one-way and it counts as one of your pieces of luggage).

No more paragliding for me! Not with the performance and wider range of safe flying conditions with the hang glider.

A spare pair of hands certainly helps with this. I had a bit of help at the end from my assistant (now 2+ yrs old)...he was kept away for the most part as he sure loves Dada's hang glider! I hope it's a sign of things to come!
