Nick's racing pod

I have been working on my own version of a racing pod that also has the 6030 out in the front. After talking to some of the top pilots here in OZ and as well as Jeff Shapiro at Forbes, they all seemed to like the idea of having the main instrument 6030 out the front with the 76CSX behind.
My Pods are constructed out of epoxy resin and structural woven glass matting, giving light weight whilst being very strong. My pods all sell for $290AU, I also make carbon clips to suit Moyes Zoom downtube, Airborne and Aeros streamlined downtube..
Check out more photo's of my pods to suit Brauniger and Flytec 6030, Flytec 4030, Brauniger IQ Comp GPS with the Garmin 76CSX, as well as Carbon keels at http://www.millenniumpods.com/index.php or email me at <email> to place an order.

I'm debating…
I have a 6030 now…and am still getting used to it. Other than having access to my 76 as a backup GPS for competing, why would I NEED it visible while flying.
I do feel out of place without my 76 while flying (comps)…but is it just because I am so used to using it and just need some time to get used to the 6030?
I do need to get the 6030 extended so I can see it while flying fast but pods are pricey (Sorry Nick) and I'm just trying to justify spending the money on a pod vs. extending my standard Flytec mount 6" or so…I mean, the 6030 is pretty streamlined as is.
I do love pods tho…they are soooooooo sexy. Which may be reason enough to buy one.
Somebody convince me I need my 76 visible along side my 6030.
