Pre-Worlds Day 8

I wake up late, and find out that we're not going up the hill. Rain is in the forecast. It's overcast and cooler. A cold front has come through. I'm not too bent up about not flying.

Thursday is the farmer's market in town. Everyone is out enjoying the morning, so we've got things to see in town.

In the afternoon, I stroll around town and through a cemetary. The grave sites are festooned with interesting "souvenirs" and the hedges and trees are particularly pretty.

Jeff cooks up a calamari steak and some fresh prawns purchased from the market. We cap off the evening with a HG movie in town. Angelo d'Arrego's (I'm spelling it wrong) film about condors in the Andes.

It was much colder last night. We're hoping the north wind abates and we get to fly.
