Cool Casters
Need a way to move your hang glider down the runway without carrying it? Have a smooth runway? Take a look at these photos:
The Velcro straps above are not enough to hold the casters (and wood plates topped with neoprene) on the base bar. I originally thought I needed a couple of straps to do the job and indeed I did. Here's what that looked like before I trimmed the straps:
I've seen this method used at Big Spring where there is competition for the carts and you have to haul your glider quite a ways.
