Paul, Rick, and I had a later start to the day today, hoping that the weird clouds that had moved in would burn away and they did. Sort of.
We met Paul S. in the LZ, and, after a short trip to visit the field next to his house (a landing option if pushing west from Prevost), we headed up to launch. The sun came out and some nice cycles started rolling through Middle and it wasn't long before we launched the tandem together on our first attempt. The day was pretty stable but we were still able to find some lift over the lower cuts as well as over the LZ which gave Paul S. a good feel for paragliding. He even put in a few turns for himself!

Rick and then Paul both had extended flights in the nice air before we headed to the Training Hill where Paul S. was replaced by his brother David. It was David's second time solo training and he managed a few good flights before we called it an afternoon.
With Paul as an able and willing passenger, Rick put in another 3 tandem training flights, learning on each one.
