Wednesday was looking fairly good when I woke up, so I gave Grant a call and we headed for the Fraser Valley for a well deserved day off. With moderate winds from the East balanced with the usual valley inflow and a good lapse rate, we were set for a nice thermal flight. After reaching the low cloudbase at 1100m, Rob S, Jim and I headed off to the east, leaving Grant to enjoy the whole of Woodside on his own. I left Jim at Agassiz Mtn. and last spotted Rob near Bear Mtn. and continued 5 more km east to land.
