4th Annual Lumby Air Races

The format will be closed circuit triangle and rectangle racing around the town of Lumby BC Canada.
GPS scoring
This event is open to HG and PG
Location for registration, meetings and landings is at the Freedom Flight Park, just 1 mile north of the village of Lumby on the Mabel Lake Road.
Limit - 50 competitors

Lumby Air Races

The Lumby Air Force will be hosting the second annual Lumby Air Races
June 8,9 and 10, 2007 for Hang Gliders and Paragliders.
This will be a fun event and will work in conjunction with the Nationals. Advance registration will be restricted to 50 this year and possibly next as well . The Hang Gliding Nationals have had $1000.00 cash donated as well for prizes so far.
Next years race will have a cash goal of $10,000.00 . The entries from 2006 and 2007 will also be given first priority in 2008.

2006 Kamloops XC Meet
Submitted by Mark Dowsett on Sat, 02/04/2006 - 17:43.Sun Peaks here we come! See event details here. Flying sites may include Sun Peaks, Speargrass, the Pimple, Deadman's, Cornwall or Clinton...lots to choose from.
It will be open for HG & PG and will be a Class C HPAC Sanctioned event meaning it will be race to goal tasks. You will need a GPS if you want to get credit for turnpoints and goal finishes. If you don't have a GPS, I'll take your word that you got to the first turnpoint but anything after that, you need GPS proof!
$15 entry fee + mandatory $30 for lift tickets.
